We were delighted to be nominated for, and win, prizes in three different categories of the OCVA (Oxfordshire Community & Voluntary Action) 2017 awards. What a way to mark our 35th year!
Awards were given to:
- Volunteer Award: Ian Kennedy
- Long Service Award: Judy Wood
- Lifetime Achievement Award: The Archway Foundation
We would like to thank the OCVA for choosing Archway for these 2017 awards, to Chris and Ray for representing Archway, and especially to Ian and Judy, and all our incredible volunteers, for the unending loyalty, care and support that they provide to people suffering from loneliness.
Congratulations also to Archway Volunteer Howard Marshall who won Certificate of Honour on 19th June at Oxford Town Hall. This is “awarded to individuals who have carried out exceptional voluntary work in Oxford City and recognises the huge effort, commitment and contribution each person has made to their local and wider community and the importance of the voluntary sector in creating a better society for us all to live in.” Great work, Howard!
