The Archway Foundation is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a grant of £4750.00 by the Masonic Charitable Foundation, as part of its ongoing work in helping to reduce isolation, particularly in later life.
Over the last forty years, the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) have provided over £130 million to charities. This recent grant will be used for Volunteer Driver Recruitment – allowing us to continue providing a subsidised transport service to enable those whose physical and / or psychological challenges mean they are unable to independently access and participate in Archway’s supportive social groups.
Archway’s CEO Sheila Furlong says:
“The Archway Foundation would like to thank the Masonic Charitable Foundation for its generous grant and support which will allow us to continue providing a vital service in reaching out to some of the local community’s most hard-to-reach, isolated and lonely people.”
